​Mr. Bo Yang​
Director, Business Development​

Bo is a founding member of BWD. He is responsible for the Project’s financing, contract negotiation and strategic management work streams. Prior to his current role, Bo was an investment banking associate at Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd. He was also a private equity analyst at Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets Canada Ltd.

In his four years with Macquarie, Bo’s transaction experience spanned across the entire spectrum of investment banking, including M&A advisory, equity underwriting, leveraged finance, and buyouts. His coverage space included power & utilities, infrastructure, public private partnerships, as well as healthcare. Bo was also responsible for managing a portfolio of Canadian renewable energy assets, including hydroelectric facilities, a wind farm, and a biomass power plant. In addition, Bo also possesses extensive trade finance experience, with a focus on Documentary Credit operations.

Bo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (with distinction) from the Schulich School of Business.
